Dear Perumale,

Adiyen. Been a long long time since I have written anything here. But I have never stopped communicating with you otherwise though. Lots of things have been happening and adiyen has been tied up with quite a bit of work. However I did manage to find some time to attend a Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy Upanyasam at Bangalore. This was held between Nov 25th to 29th or so at the Venugopalaswamy temple at Malleswaram. It was a lecture on Saranagathi with selected quotes from the Gita and Acharyas. It was interesting as usual as Swamy has this unique ability to hold one’s attention for long durations. The hall at the temple was jam-packed with people standing at the last rows just to catch a glimpse of him. Well, it was an experience which was worth it. He explained how Perumal would always welcome us and is anxious to receive us, and liberate us. Saranagathi is all it takes to be with Him.

The Venugopalaswamy temple at Malleswaram in Bangalore is quite a quaint nice temple. The Moolavar is a very unique beautiful figure of Krishna playing a flute. The kausthubam is a shiny big stone one each on the moolavar and utsavar. There is also a beautiful moolavar of Vennai thaazhi Krishnar, much like the Navaneetha Krishnar at Aprameya Swamy temple. Another unique feature is that this temple has banners of both Vadagalai and Thenkalai sampradayams in the main sannadhi. Thank you for this opportunity Narayana!

Adiyen Ramanuja dasan.
